Course Structure & Curriculum
Year 1-2: Pre-clinical subjects - Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology, Medical Biology, Medical Physics, General Chemistry. Year 3-4: Para-clinical - Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Radiology. Year 4-6: Clinical rotations - Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine.
Final year includes clinical internship and MD thesis preparation.
FMGE / NExT Passing Performance
Samara State Medical University is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, formerly Medical Council of India (MCI). The university is listed in the WDOMS (World Directory of Medical Schools) and approved by ECFMG for USMLE. Indian students who graduate from SamSMU are eligible to appear for the NMC Screening Test (NExT/FMGE) to obtain license to practice medicine in India.

Rooms are available in single, double, and triple-sharing configurations. Each room is furnished with beds, study tables, chairs, wardrobes, and adequate heating for harsh winters.
