Ivanovo State Medical Academy (IvSMA), established in 1930, is one of Russia's oldest and most respected medical institutions. NMC & WHO recognized, IvSMA offers English-medium MBBS with affordable fees, modern infrastructure, and strong clinical training for over 1200 Indian students.
History & Founding
Founded in 1930, Ivanovo State Medical Academy has over 90 years of excellence in medical education. It is a pioneer in training international students, especially from India, Africa, and the Middle East.

Teaching Hospital
IvSMA is affiliated with Ivanovo Regional Clinical Hospital (1200+ beds), Ivanovo City Clinical Hospital, Ivanovo Children's Clinical Hospital, and 15+ specialty clinics. Students gain hands-on clinical training from Year 3 onwards in diverse specialties including surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, cardiology, and emergency medicine.

Course Structure & Curriculum
Year 1-2: Pre-clinical subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology). Year 3-4: Para-clinical subjects (Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine). Year 5-6: Clinical rotations (Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology) + Internship.
FMGE / NExT Passing Performance
Ivanovo State Medical Academy is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Government of India. Graduates are eligible to appear for NExT (National Exit Test) to practice medicine in India. The university is also listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) and recognized by ECFMG for USMLE eligibility.

Admission Process & Timeline
Step 1: Submit NEET scorecard, Class 10 & 12 marksheets, passport copy to AV Global. Step 2: AV Global processes invitation letter from IvSMA (7-10 days). Step 3: Pay first-year fees.
Step 4: Apply for Russian student visa. Step 5: AV Global assists with visa, travel, airport pickup, hostel allocation, and university registration. Step 6: Orientation and class commencement in September.
