Jalalabad State University was established for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan in the year 1993. It is one of the oldest and best medical universities in Kyrgyzstan. It is recognized by the WHO and Medical Council of India, for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan.

Around Fourteen thousand students are studying for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan at this university, over seven hundred teachers are working, including fifteen doctors of professors and science, and one hundred and sixteen candidates of science and for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan there are approximately thousand students from countries like India, Nepal, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the United State of America, Iran, Israel, Palestine, Syria, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Producing specialists with high education within the following 54 field sand with secondary professional education in 12 fields. The medical faculty is affiliated with the Science Education and Ministry of Health, Kyrgyzstan. It was inaugurated by the president of Kyrgyzstan on 2nd of April 1993 as a designed educational state institution to provide training for specialists with basic as well as complete education in areas such as medicine, education, electronics, energy, construction, and also specialists for the agro-industrial complex.

It is annually strengthened their international relation for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan. At present, the university has close cooperation with leading research center and universities across the globe and as well as with in the country, with whom there is an agreement on joint research activities. The main subject of the agreement is cooperation through joint scientific research, education, academic and scientific cooperation, research opportunities for students and faculties, social and cultural activities, internship, and many more for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan.

Jalalabad State university has tie-ups with many universities such as KIIT University (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) from Bhubaneswar, India, Donbass State Pedagogical University from Ukraine, Altai State, Russia, Zabaykalsky State University of Russia, Tomsk State Pedagogical University from Russia, Turan University from Kazakhstan, Kazakh University of Technology and Business (KazUTB), Xinjiang Agricultural Vocational and Technical Institute from China, Bartin University from Turkey, Tajik State Pedagogical University, Institute of fertilizer, soil and agricultural irrigation (with the Agrarian Academy of XUAR) from China, Turkish universities – Çankırı Karatekin, Giresun, Haran, Kastamonu, Bartin; Vinnytsia Socio-Economic Institute of the Open International University of Human Development, Ukraine; Foundation POSCOTJ PARK, Korea and many more universities all over the world.

In the year 2015, four students and seven teachers of Jalalabad State University visited in the universities of Turkey within the Mevlana program. In the year 2015, five students receive scholarships from the POSCO TJ PARK Fund, Korea. In the year 2015, four teachers visited colleges in India with the support of Embassy of India.
