ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA
- Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with minimum 50% marks with PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) from any recognized board.
- Admission: – Admission will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam (NEET).
- NEET Cut off (2020): – For General Category: – 147 marks, for reserved category: – 113 marks.
UNIVERSITY INFORMATION
Established in 1896, the Shanghai Jiao Tong University underwent a number of reformations and got its name in 1959. Shanghai Second Medical University was merged into the Shanghai Jiao Tong University on July 18, 2005, and developed into a medical school in China under the name Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Clinical Medicine of SJTU ranked at ESI top level (0.1%). It is one of the two medical universities that received the highest ranking of “A+” in Clinical Medicine from the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
Shanghai Jiao Tong University includes five beautiful campuses taking up an area of about 3,225,833 m2 and named as Xuhui, Minhang, Luwan, Qibao, and Fahua. A number of faculties have been advancing towards the top echelon internationally, and a batch of burgeoning branches of learning has taken an top position nationally. Today SJTU has 26 schools (departments), 68 undergraduate programs, 28 post-doctorate programs, 250 masters-degree programs, 203 Ph.D. programs, with 12 state key laboratories and national engineering research centers. Shanghai Jiao Tong University boasts a large number of famous scientists and professors, including 95 accredited professors and chair professors of the “Cheung Kong Scholars Program”, 34 academics of the Academy of Sciences and Academy of Engineering, and more than2006 professors and associate professors.
