Semey State Medical University is one of the largest higher medical education establishments for MBBS in Kazakhstan of Kazakhstan Republic, having its own teaching hospital branches in the Pavlodar city. The biggest dynamics infrastructure development is given to intensive growth opportunities of the scientific, educational and innovational prosperity for MBBS in Kazakhstan. Mission Training of highly professional, competitive medical personnel of the rising generation who are ready to understand the problems of global health, solve strategic development objectives of the country in terms of formation of special branch of mutual cooperation of lecturers, students and employers; introduction of innovative technologies in all frames of university references; striving to assure competent approach in education and continuing professional education during the life-time; performance of society’s need in health protection of East Kazakhstan Region and population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Educational work of Semey State Medical University is carried out in accordance with the normative documents of higher education under the leadership of the Rector, the prorector for educational works, the deans of departments, coordinated by the Education Counsel & the Central Methodical Counsel (CMC) for MBBS in Kazakhstan. For the discussion of the Academic counsel and CMC, cardinal questions, determining changes of teaching methods, carrying out method’s introduction of student’s teaching; introduction questions about achievement of medicine and practice in the educational process; perfection of teaching process and forms is based on definite traditions, developed during many years and became foundations, which in addition to the modern science and foundation, which in addition to the modern science and technology, preparation of highly qualified doctors/specialists is carried out in this university.

The quantity of published educational methodical recommendations and textbooks was mainly increased from the last years.
Methods in the state language in accordance with realization “Languages Law” and “Education Law”; MBBS in Kazakhstan, reviewing of examination materials; manuscripts, discussion for determination of their readiness to the publication, are submitted. The educational system in university departments build up teaching process considering that the teacher’s job in not only giving information to the students for MBBS in Kazakhstan, but also in their cognitive activity’s stimulation and inculcation of scientific cognition methods in the educational process.

The university was founded in 1952. It is one of the best medical universities in Kazakhstan for MBBS study. It was previously known as ‘Semipalatinsk State Medical institute’, but after a period of about 40 years the university’s name was changed to Semey State medical University. The first faculty at the university was the medicine faculty which started in the year 1953. The university introduced more faculties gradually which includes Pediatrics which started in 1963, Stomatology faculty which started in 1991, Medico Prophylactic, Pharmaceutical faculty and general medicine faculty started in 2003 for MBBS in Kazakhstan. At present time there are 3500 students studying in the university. Today at Semey State medical University there are 450 teachers for MBBS in Kazakhstan.
